AuctionDrop Named a Rising Star in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Program for Silicon Valley

Menlo Park, Calif., November 1, 2007 - AuctionDrop, Inc. (www.auctiondrop.com), a leading online retailer of authentic premium brands and luxury goods, has been named a Rising Star in Deloitte & Touche USA LLP’s Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 program. The Fast 50 program ranks the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies headquartered in the Silicon Valley region. AuctionDrop ranked as #12 on the Rising Star list. The Rising Star award is special recognition for fast-growth companies that have been in business for a minimum of three but less than five years.

AuctionDrop's rapid growth is a result of its successful business-to-consumer model which sources gently-used and surplus premium-brand and luxury inventory from big box national retailers, high-end luxury retailers and other corporate sources. AuctionDrop then sells the high-quality merchandise through eBay and other online channels. AuctionDrop has grown 40 percent quarterly over the past nine quarters. The company is now one of eBay's largest retailers with merchandise volumes in the 99 percentile of all active eBay merchandisers. Additionally, the company has maintained a remarkable 99.7 percent positive consumer "feedback" rating on eBay for all transactions to date.

"Deloitte's Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 Rising Star companies have shown the strength, vision and tenacity to succeed despite a very challenging technology environment," said Mark Jensen, partner and national director, Venture Capital Services, Deloitte & Touche LLP. "We applaud the successes of AuctionDrop and acknowledge its place as one of the few to accomplish such a fast growth rate over the past three years."

"We are honored to be recognized by Deloitte for our strong performance," said George Northup, president and CEO of AuctionDrop, Inc. "Our recent awards are a testament to AuctionDrop's dedicated staff and the company's innovative reverse supply chain model. We look forward to building upon our success in 2008."

Rankings for the Fast 50 program are based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2004–2006). This year's Silicon Valley Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and Silicon Valley Bank, Cooley Godward Kronish LLP, Korn/Ferry International, and Woodruff-Sawyer & Co.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star program, companies must be incorporated a minimum of three years and have revenues in only three or four years, have operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2004 and $5,000,000 in 2006, be headquartered within the San Francisco Bay Area, and own proprietary technology or proprietary intellectual property that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues or devote a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.

Rising Star companies are automatically entered in Deloitte's Technology Fast 500 program, ranking North America's fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies.
